Not-for-Profit Status

The Abbeville County Historic Preservation Commission is a 501(c)(3) organization devoted to preserving the Burt-Stark Mansion and related sites of historic value within Abbeville County. The Commission was established in 1992 following the decision of Mary Stark Davis to preserve the mansion and its contents for the benefit of future generations.

We exist to preserve the Burt-Stark Mansion and its contents for future generations.

Our Funding Sources

The Commission is funded through the generosity of individuals and several specialized Federal and State grant programs. All contributions to the Commission are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Click here to donate:
